The sandbar has been improved. The brush has been mowed between Township Park and the sandbar making it easier to walk between the two. There is now access to a sandy beach all along the sandbar to enjoy both fishing and swimming.

The Dockside Restaurant is now open right in the Conneaut harbor. Boats can dock and enjoy breakfast, lunch or supper seven days a week. The phone number is 440-593-1223

THE BIRD WATCHERS JOURNAL
There are over 248 different species of birds In the State of Ohio.
It's been reported that over 60% of them have been sighted at the sand bar, here In Conneaut.

For all of you bird watchers who would like to share your sightings with other kindred watchers, this Bird Watchers Journal is just for you.

The journal will be kept in the Launch Ramp office and available to you during regular office hours; Monday thru Friday 9:30am - 1:30pm. The Launch Ramp office is located just east of the Launch Ramps at the public dock In Conneaut.
